Welcome To Faith Baptist Church

A Family of Faith.

Faith Baptist Church is affiliated with the Orange Blossom Baptist Association, the Florida Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.  We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.  We are a traditional church, featuring organ, piano and choir for worship.  We sing from the Baptist Hymnal published in 2008 which includes both traditional and contemporary songs.  We are a strong missions church led by our Women on Mission organization to support international missions, North American missions, state and local missions through our regular gifts and special emphases such as Operation Christmas Child.  Although the bulk of our membership would be considered Senior Adult, we are moving determinedly toward reaching younger families with children.  We offer Sunday School classes for all ages as well as special topical Bible Studies during the fall, winter and spring terms.  We make every effort to be warm, friendly and welcoming to everyone God brings our way.  Check us out.

We are now holding in person morning Worship Services. There are a few new policies in place for Worship Service during the threat of the coronavirus.
1. If you have any underlying health issues, or are running a fever, have the sniffles, a cough or unusual body aches, please worship with us online. “When in doubt, don’t go out” is a good mantra to follow. We will be taking temperatures upon entry with a thermometer gun.
2. If you are attending worship, please try to park in a spot with open parking spaces on either side of you.
3. The doors will be propped open so that you do not have to touch a door handle (except for restroom doors).
4. Offering plates will be in the foyer so that you may worship-fully give your offering as you enter or leave.
5. Masks will be available and you are encouraged to use them.
6. A hands-free sanitizer dispenser is on the wall to the right of the fellowship hall entrance. A pump dispenser is on a table in the rear of the sanctuary.
7. Please move directly to a seat on the designated pews, preferably starting at the front and leaving the back seats for those arriving after you. Plan to sit at opposite ends of the pews to allow for distancing. Please son’t congregate in the aisles. Once you have found a seat, feel free to stand up, look around and greet one another with a nod, a wave or a verbal greeting.
8. When the service is over, pews will be dismissed one at a time beginning with the back pews and working toward the front. Those parked in the lot on the north side of the building may want to exit through the organ-side door. Again, doors will be propped open.
9. Our Service will be posted on YouTube after the conclusion of Morning Worship. We will also be Live Streaming our Morning Worship Service on Facebook at 10:45am on Sunday. This is a new process for us so please bear with us while we are still learning how to stream our service in real time.
The Fellowship Hall will be available for families and for any overflow from the Sanctuary with people sitting at distanced tables watching the service on the screen.
Please let us know in the office if you have any questions or concerns. The church office is open full time Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. If you need to come by the office, we ask that you please let us know before you come so we can continue to practice social distancing.

Our Vision, Mission and Beliefs

Our mission and vision is to transform the hearts of people into a close and personal relationship with Jesus where they know Him as Lord, King and Savior. We believe in physical, emotional and spiritual transformation the instant a person accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Every Sunday we bring a message of hope. The only hope to be found in Jesus.
